Our Services
Support Staff
Fully trained, vetted support workers who integrate seamlessly into your team — delivering keyworking, resident support, and housing-related assistance under your service model.
When your own staffing is stretched, when you have vacancies you cannot fill, or when you need experienced people to deliver specific support functions, AGS provides qualified support workers who operate as a genuine extension of your team.
Our support staff are placed following a thorough matching process — we review your service model, resident profiles, risk levels, and the specific skills you need before proposing any placement. Staff receive your service induction before their first shift and are supported by AGS management throughout. All placements comply with Ofsted safer recruitment requirements for services supporting young people, ensuring the highest standards of vetting and suitability screening regardless of the client group.
Support staff can work across a wide range of supported housing and care settings, including homelessness services, mental health recovery housing, domestic abuse recovery accommodation, substance misuse supported housing, young people's services, and move-on provision. We do not place generic care agency workers and expect them to adapt — we select staff with relevant experience, backed by 20 years of exclusive sector expertise, and invest in their readiness for your specific environment.

What makes our support staff different
20 years of sector expertise
With 20 years working exclusively in supported housing and homelessness, we do not place generic care workers and hope for the best. Our support staff are selected specifically for supported housing roles, with relevant experience and the right values.
Careful matching
Before any placement, we review your service in detail. The staff member we propose will be suited to your residents, your approach, and the specific support tasks needed.
Managed, not just placed
Unlike traditional recruitment agencies, we manage our staff throughout their time with you. Performance issues, conduct concerns, and cover gaps are all handled by AGS — not left to you.
TUPE-aware and compliant
For contract transitions, we are experienced in TUPE obligations and can manage staff transfers compliantly and sensitively to maintain service continuity.
