  • Provide respectful, non-confrontational support to residents when needed
  • Identify and report safeguarding concerns including vulnerability, exploitation, self-harm, mental health, or substance misuse
  • Complete accurate handovers, incident reports, daily logs, and welfare records
  • Escalate concerns promptly and appropriately in line with safeguarding procedures
  • Work collaboratively with housing teams, support staff, emergency services, and management
  • Uphold professional boundaries while promoting equality, diversity, and confidentiality

  • Conflict resolution and de-escalation of challenging behaviour
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding principles and housing support environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and decisive under pressure
  • Confident working independently and on a lone-working basis
  • Strong awareness of risk management and professional boundaries
